There are quite a number of single parents who like to go for dates just like the other single who do not have kids. But the problem here is that they do not have as many choices as the others have. These single parents can be equally attractive but they are often considered as the second choice for both men and women. There are few reasons behind this.

But the fact is that they often feel deserted or lonely in the world of dating as there acre not many choices left with them. This is the reason why they remain as the largest group of singles in the country. In fact they are also choosy about their partners as all of them have their own reasons.

Reasons for being selective

Often this happens with the single parents that they become skeptical by nature. They are not able to go for dates with the free spirit which a single person without a kid has.

This is where they lack and often most of the dating partners miss that easy charm in them. So they loose on some of the most eligible bachelors and spinsters. Sometimes they look for people who will be able to get accustomed with their kids and in most cases this does not happen.

The single issueless people are generally not ready to do any sorts of compromises for them. This is again a safety threat for a single parent. They often get worried about the security of their children. They will not really like it if their date does not like their kids just the way they do.

Many other people are there who have their personal reasons of not having children; hence for them single parents are strictly not the choice. Moreover often the kids have problem in adjusting with their dads or moms date which might be a reason of your not getting many dates.

Limitations of single parents

Often the single parents have their own limitations which do not allow them to lead a normal dating life. First of all the society and the other singles consider them as people with an extra baggage which is really mean but crudely true. Moreover they have a lot of family responsibilities. They need to earn as well as take care of their kids.

The social life is not really colorful for them. This is the reason why they are somewhat deserted in the world of dating. But at the same time they can go for the other single parents who will be able to understand their problems and emotions. Because compassion and caring nature these are two must haves in their partners.
