2. He often touches you innocently

Attraction and love go hand-in-hand, and attraction is often expressed through touching. The act of touching can be a proxy, or substitute, for the act of making love. 3. He tries to get a reaction out of you

A common tactic that men use to indirectly show they care is to make fun of a woman, ever so lightly and in an inoffensive manner. While this sounds like something straight out of the third grade, it is a behavior that typically extends well into adulthood. This type of indirect sign of affection is common with men who are not yet at that stage of relationship with the woman they like.
