Most people prefer to approach learning about Christianity through the lessons taught by people who have spent a lot of time researching the Bible. Sunday school teachers come from all walks of life but they have one focus and that is Jesus Christ.

The learning experience might sadden them one day when they learn that Christ was killed on a cross, but then their spirits will be uplifted when the Sunday School teacher tells them about Jesus was sent to Heaven to help create a place where we could all go one day and live with God.

As we get older, we go to Sunday school to get educated about Christianity. The Bible is the written words of the Son of God, Jesus and the words of his father, God. It is a complex compilation of writings from a number of people who started the Christian religion. The Bible can not be fully understood without careful study and the weekly lessons that are taught in Sunday school allow people to discuss the finer points of every word written in the Bible.

The practice of meeting each week in the early morning hours before Church teaches people to commit to their study about Christianity. It also bolsters the camaraderie and closeness that Christians have with each other.
