The spring/summer 2009 brought us another surprise for their low-profile elegance and practical imagination. The show was opened by Stephanie Seymour in October 2008, which was called the ?nice swagger and sexy cool feeling? by UK fashion magazine director Kate Phelan. The main theme of the show was the Wild West and it was displayed in clothes, handbags and shoes. It seems that the French have a slight obsession with cowboys as we can see many French-Angelenos in their jeans and cowboy boots and ask any French person 40 or older and they will tell you one of their favorite movies is "Once Upon a Time in the West". Caramel jackets, wide trousers, cowboy's hats, dresses with highlighted waist, suede boots, high-heeled sandals, peep-toe shoes, crocodile clutches - Hermes simply insists on the streets to become a new western background. Those chic girls walk in sands with their high heels, though it is to be a little difficult.

As we know that Hermes is wildly known for its exotics, the women's shoes are appropriate in lizard skin.

Finally, I want to mention that the models in the Hermes spring/summer 2009 runway were excellent. Stephanie Seymour and Naomi Campbell left people an impression that a woman can maintain her beauty forever. We need to understand Stephanie Seymour is 40 years old now and Naomi Campbell is 38 years old. Perhaps they had represented Hermes? main spirit: everlasting beauty and simpleness but being historical modernism.
