Automobile insurance is the only guarantee you can have that you are not going to lose your new car. Hey, you could lose it in an accident, if it got totaled. The car also could get stolen from you. And then where would you be? Back in you-know-what creek, ? if you don't have car insurance.
A lot of the horrible things we have to deal with in our lives could have been averted if only we made the right choices, you know that? If your car got stolen, for instance, it could be bought back for you at no extra cost to you. But that would only happen if the car was insured for theft.

It is would have been better though, if you had a comprehensive package that could pay for everything. But then again, a half loaf of bread is better than nothing at all.
Injury to any one person is a common clause in auto insurance; it is not one that anybody in their right senses should settle for. When there is more than one person involved in an accident and your insurance only covers for one person, then you would have to pay for the other person from your pocket.
You should have your car insured for damages to another person's property, implying the car of the other person.
