Thank You Sympathy Verses
James Burgess
The message needs to be clearly identified as relevant and timely. By and large we need to become much less confused about what we are trying to achieve. This concerns everything, from everyday practical matters to dealing with painful feelings. The mystery seems to be to do with how to reach that clarity and then to uncover the answers to whatever problems we have to deal with. The 7 Words System offers a straightforward instinctive method that makes it possible for us to access a much better appreciation of what it is that we are trying to find. This opens with No. To begin with, we will need identify accurately what we don't want, what is not useful, before we can know what we do want.
Sympathy verses for death: HELLO is about openness and attention.
Its importance lies in bringing attention to aspects of death and dying that can perhaps otherwise not be recognized. The second stage connects to the word Hello. We need to open up to new potential if we have a desire to expand our possibilities of keys to the many difficulties that often arise for us. Is that reasonably logical? To get something different we will need to enlarge our sphere of awareness and look where we have not formerly looked already. New dreams, new contacts , new places and new things are clearly parts of giving some consideration to something we have not formerly been subjected to. This entails that we trade old for new, that can tender something in fair return for what are trying to acquire for ourselves.
Sympathy verses for death: THANK YOU is about giving from the heart.
The poignancy of the reading will depend upon striking a balance between too little and too much sentiment. Between all of our options, some are more desirable than others and we feel we want to treat them as having a greater merit, because we appreciate them more. This is explained by the primary word Thanks. Over and over again, we forget the worth of what we have, then blindly move into ingratitude and are likely to presume things will always be the way they have been before. It's more than just courteousness to let somebody see our appreciation for things we treasure; it has a significant consequence in helping us to accomplish our goals. Psychologically we are pulled to what we convey gratitude for, and yet it's equally true to say that we can to draw them to us too. We increase charisma when we say Thanks and therefore, when we do so, we effortlessly bring things to come to us.
Sympathy verses for death: GOODBYE is about completion and moving on.
The finality of death has to be dealt with; there is comfort to be offered in Truth. The word Goodbye is the fourth of the 7 primary words and relates to a course of development that has 4 clearly defined steps. They are: realization, decision, completion and moving on. What we are saying goodbye to a particular stage of development, so could be distinguished in simple terms as total dismissal of a viable course of action that previously we had been going towards and in future will not follow. It is a turning point in our choice of would-be outcomes. Goodbye is different from No because it means that there has been a degree of some kind of involved interaction already, which now needs to end compared to No's repudiation in the first place. Bona fide decisions cut the past away unconditionally and that penetration sets up an opening of a doorway that otherwise does not happen.
Sympathy verses for death: PLEASE is about vision and prayer.
Many people have little or no experience of prayerfulness hence the special value of poetry to create sacredness through beauty. The future reveals itself according to the things considered normal of the past unless we take control of it and shape it to our needs. To do this calls for to have a vision of how we want it to be; this vision has to be very clear, particular and optimistic—and converted into intention. They differ don't they - vision and intention? The first is rather unreal and the second is much more single-minded and willful. For a dream to become real there must be cooperation. Nothing can be achieved without acquiring the help of other people - this takes competence, doubtless influence, , even inspiration. It is not always compulsory to proffer something such as money or money's worth.
Sympathy verses for death: SORRY is essentially about release.
Remorse, guilt and blame are issues that poems can address elegantly. Sorry, the 6th primary word, is best seen as making good damage done if we've been insensitive or heedless to the circumstances of another. The best plan is to make sure we prevent the need to say it by being thoughtful sooner. For what reason? Well it's because anyone we upset could easily be inclined to act against us and diminish our likelihood of accomplishing what we intend, so it is obviously more reasonable to respect others as well as ourselves. This question is all to do with being responsible, having a degree of concern for anyone we've upset and making amends when we've made a mistake. Then and only then will it ever be possible to prevent the likelihood or heal resentment and let go of the permanent nastiness that otherwise would strengthen and be a source of bitterness.
Sympathy verses for death: YES is about accepting and surrender.
Perhaps the deepest compassion is expressed when leading the bereaved to accept what is inevitable. The final point of our 7 Words approach is to do with acceptance; there are instances when we simply have to consent to what we cannot change. The word is Yes. It would be fine wouldn't it if we were able to make the world exactly the way we envision it - but in actual reality we can't. We always need to withstand what comes, and to take what is not exactly what we asked for.
The paramount secret is to place reliance on the fact that everything in time turns around to our advantage, that the modifications to our plans are all improvements when considered in the perspective of the longer term. Clearly it's not easy to see it when we are still close and attached to our desires of course not! However hold your horses and you will see that the unanticipated events, the surprises and failures are actually the best bits veiled as trouble.
