The DNA Identity Testing Center, Bio-Synthesis, Inc. Is an AABB accredited, DNA relationship testing laboratory, and offers parentage, siblingship, grandparentage, an avuncular (aunt/uncle-niece/nephew) relationship tests. There are many, many applications for DNA tests: the most commonly known is that of questioned paternity. A relatively new application involves immigration to the w:st="on"United States. In recent years, we have seen a tremendous increase in the number of requests for DNA tests issued by U.S. Embassies and immigration offices, to immigrant visa applicants and their families. Through a DNA test, it can conclusively be determined whether or not alleged relatives are, in fact, biological relatives. Therefore, Embassies are now relying heavily on DNA test results when processing immigrant visa applications.
If an immigrant visa applicant is issued a request for a DNA test, the requesting Embassy will also provide instructions and a list of AABB accredited labs (www.aabb.org) for the applicant to choose from. There are less than fifty accredited labs in the world, and we happen to be one of them! Although we can coordinate a test anywhere in the country, local clients appreciate meeting our laboratory staff face-to-face, and the personal service that we provide.
