About eighteen years ago,I was engaged to a Wonderful Lady,whose name was,
Wendy,We had been Together for about seven years,and very much in
love.......Wendy lived in Marine City Michigan,and We Had plans of getting
married,and I Live with her there and commute back and forward to my job
in Canada. In the summer of 1990, We went on vacation and travelled to
Saute Saint Marie On the Canadian Side and crossed at the bridge,and went
to Mackinac Island,Then went onto Traverse City Michigan for the Cherry
Festival We had a great Time and then left to go back to Wendy's Home in
Marine City; We had been back For a few days, when Wendy became ill and
had to go to the Hospital,after about A week She was Diagnosed as having
Addisson's Disease,which attacks the Cortex In the back of Her Brain, it
was Cancer; The Doctor's told Her it was too far gone,and
There was No Chance of recovery, She was given a little time to live. This
just broke my Heart right in Two............ After six weeks of spending my
Days and Nights beside Her in the Hospital.......On the Sixth Day of
August,Wendy asked me to hold her in my arms. She looked up at me with
tears in Her eyes,But! a Wonderful Smile on Her face that Glowed, She then
gave me the most precious gift I have ever received in My Life,as Wendy said
to me "Thank You! for sharing my Life,and I Love You with all of my
Heart!" As I held Her close in my arms,Wendy said, "I see my Angel here
coming to take me To my Lord , the tears began to run down my face as I felt
a warm but! strange and Wonderful Feeling come over me,as I felt The "
Holy Spirit " touch my Heart and come Into my Life, Then Wendy laid Her
head in my arms,and She Was gone home to the Lord.
Praise Jesus! , Thank You! Jesus, for He is the Risen One who took away the
sins of the world,And died on the Cross for you and I........
