Users can be formed into queues in their own 'channels' and listen to a master 'channel.'

For example, a company that has more than 5,000 employees can host a company wide meeting via a web conference. Groups within the corporation may be assigned to their own channel and 'speakers' will be broadcast to all channels.

This would allow groups to discuss what is heard and viewed, but doesn't involve the renting of a space or the gathering together of so many employees. Meetings such as a company wide one would require some planning including the emailing of invitations to all participants, setting up the audio conferencing, streaming videos and any other media, like slideshows. This advance preparation is no different than what would be required to host a meeting on grand scale where the audience must be gathered into one location rather than just present in their own offices.

Conferences that have fewer people can be started at any time, whether just by opening a channel and inviting the available into it or meeting at a standard time. Some companies even employ an open channel conference between members of the same group.

This allows cooperative response to dilemmas. In the instance of a problem, the entire group can be alerted at once in order to take action or offer advice. This availability is much like the usage of instant messaging between co-workers or others whether on-site or off.
