These days we are losing land at such a rapid rate there is no telling how soon we will run out of land to develop. If we continue to grow at such a speed eventually the only land that we have which is still able to be developed is farmland. The thing is that if we use our farmland to put up condos as we are with the rest of the open land we will have no more room for our crops that we grow to survive. As previously stated, the land that we have here on earth is a valuable but rapidly depleting resource. There is no way to recover more once we use all of it up. The only answer to this is to learn alternate methods to do things that take up the majority of our usable land. Farming is that thing and hydroponics is a way to cure the problem.
