It seems as though the cost of high quality lingerie is going up just as fast as gas is. Brick and mortar stores that sell lingerie, like Victorias Secret, Fredricks of Hollywood and even regular clothing stores that happen to also sell lingerie, like American Eagle or Abercrombie and Fitch charge you an arm and a leg just to get cute underwear. It seems as though affordable (and cute!) lingerie should be every womans constitutional right, or something.
Unfortunately, many of these traditional mall stores charge outrageously high prices for the lingerie they sell. Even when they do have sales, it usually involves something like choose five of our ugliest panties, then fork over $25 for them. For most people, that is not much of a sale at all.
Still, there is hope for those who are looking for affordable, high quality lingerie that does not look like something your grandmother would wear. The trick is to know where to actually look. As a hint, you are probably not going to find any spectacular deals at your local strip mall. If you must go to a brick and mortar store, however, you will probably find the best lingerie deals at outlet stores as well.
If you are not afraid of doing your lingerie shopping online, you can usually save yourself a ton of money on beautiful lingerie that is also of high quality and will resist pilling or tearing when you wash it. To find lingerie retailers online, do a quick Google search (or use any other search engine, for that matter). A word from the wise: stay away from brands of lingerie that you have never heard of before. Going generic with your lingerie or underwear is probably not a good idea, as you have no idea whether or not the quality will be up to your standards.
Once you have found the online retailers you would not mind making lingerie purchases from, take a look around the website. Like traditional stores, online retailers usually also have clearance sections. If you know where to look, you can usually get underwear for as little as 99 cents a pair!
Before you pull out your credit card and pay for your lingerie purchase, you have one thing left to do: search for coupon codes online. Most online retailers take coupon codes, and knowing what they are just takes a brief search engine hunt.
