The Expansion Plans of BSNL
BSNL has hundreds of satisfied customers located in all
over India who have benefited from the broadband connection. Now BSNL plans to
start streaming services and facility of mobile video through their 3G and 2G
networks. All these new features will make the whole process of data transfer
faster.
BSNL
has responded to the requests of its clients about the
introduction of multimedia services.
BSNL has coordinated with Dilithium, the leading multimedia
solution provider for acquiring the services in
broadband
and mobile
networks. Dilithium DTG 3021 will assist in the programming of the live mobile
video facilities. BSNL will also use the DCA streaming solutions of videos for
the video streaming process. According to Uno Mehta, who is the Vice President
of Dilithium Value Added Services, the services will be offered for both packet
switched videos and circuit switched videos. The concern will also take the help
of HCL Info systems Limited for technical problems.
As for the live TV services,
BSNL
is all set to
launch its new product in this year. TTSL or the Tata Teleservices Limited has
been given the responsibility to introduce new features which can help in the
use of TDM traffic and Ethernet for wireless networks. TDM is known as Time
Division Multiplexing. This is a new kind of technology which has the capacity
of sending more than one signal to the same communication channel at the same
time. TTSL can also be used for transmitting data, voice and other content
through wireless network.
There is a system from Ceragon which has a migration-ready
system. This is popularly known as FibeAir IP-10. It serves as a good support
system for Ethernet and TDM. Tata will improve the system as soon as BSNL
acquires a substantial number of clients. The microwave solutions from Ceragon
are used for the CDMA network. The wireless solutions from Ceragon are apt for
