Like other celebrities, Heather Mills was also offered numerous TV offers and appearances after her inclusion on Dancing with the Stars. Despite the opportunity to land gigs in the industry, the 39-year old activist rejected nearly all scheduled appearances and invitations in the United States, as well as in the United Kingdom.

After Mills’ stint on Dancing with the Stars, she was supposed to guest star in the program The View and The Jimmy Kimmel Show. However, she did not show up on both programs as she immediately returned to her homeland. Many assumed that her non-appearance was due to her embarrassment on her defeat on the dance competition.

Upon arriving in the United Kingdom, Mills instantly drew the attention of the press with her numerous TV offers, which included an invitation on the U.K. reality show Celebrity Big Brother. Once again, she turned down the offer.

While her rejection of Celebrity Big Brother clearly indicates her showing no interest on the show, many were still fixated on the idea of her joining the program. In fact, many photographers were following her every move, which prompted her to release a public statement that she will not be joining any reality programs.

It was probably a case of having to much exposure in the limelight, especially with her inclusion on the reality celebrity dance show, not to mention her bitter divorce with Paul McCartney. Perhaps all the hype just got to her and made her reach a point where she was just fed up.

Mills, on the other hand, claimed that she only wanted to join Dancing with the Stars for charity. Thus, she was not interested in landing acting gigs or lingering in the limelight after her inclusion on the dance program. By turning down TV offers, she was actually making a point.
