AdSense is an ad serving program run by Google. It is an out growth of Google content targeted advertisement program that was lunched in early march 2003. It delivers relevant text, image ads that are precisely targeted to the site and site content. When one adds a Google search box to a site, AdSense delivers relevant text ads that are targeted to the Google search result pages generated by the visitors search request. These ads generate revenue on either a per click or per-thousand-impressions basis.
AdSense lets website owners make money easily & fast without even selling anything. It works for small enthusiast or hubby sites as well as lager operations.
Google utilizes it search technologies to serve ad based on website content, the user's geographical locations. Currently this AdSense uses JavaScript code to incorporate the advertisements to a participating site. If any website includes this and not yet been crawled by Mediabot it will temporarily display advertisements.
This early program lets large websites integrate Google AdWords in to their websites. Each deal is negotiated with Google & sites with less than 20 million page views couldn't participate. This program also lets much smaller websites play.
Each time visitors visits a page with an adsense tag a piece JavaScript writes an iframe tag, whose src attribute includes the URL of the page. Google's server uses a cache of the page for the URL or the keyword of the URL itself to determine a set of keywords. If keywords have been cached already, ads are served for those keywords based on the Adwords bidding system.
