To help get your baby to interact with them, make them primary colors or just black and white. You want them to be amazing to look at and you want your child to interact with them. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that anything that is hanging over the baby's crib can potentially be something that could fall on them. Try to keep this to a minimal and avoid anything that is not secured tightly.
