Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Hybrid
With the new "green" phenomenon, there are many car manufacturers that are, or already have jumped on the bandwagon by using hybrid technology within their cars. Standard fuel cars emit a large amount of harmful toxins into the air, ultimately destroying the environment that we live in as well as the O-zone layer.
Therefore, the demand for hybrid cars has gone on the rise because now that we are dealing with global warming and other environmental problems, we'd like to make a change. Not only is this a step in the right direction for the world as a whole, but car manufacturers can also cash in quite nicely for producing a quality hybrid car.
Toyota was the first to really introduce the hybrid technology into cars with the Toyota Prius, quite a few years back. Introduced in the 2007 is the newest model of the Toyota Camry Hybrid, which is the third installment of hybrid car's for them. The way they describe the power of this vehicle is of a strong six-cylinder engine that provides the gas of a four-cylinder engine.
Although the Camry does not compete with the Prius in miles per gallon, it does have other great features. The car itself, is a well-known and has a good reputation, along with being a family car so that makes it more likeable. Honda has also joined the race with their Hybrid versions of the Accord and Civic.
With the 2007 Honda Accord, you're going to get a combination of a luxury car as well as being very fuel efficient. With a nice 253 horsepower, you definitely won't be dissatisfied with the power of this hybrid. Take all three of those qualities; hybrid, luxury, power and you've got yourself a sweet deal.
Theres one key feature that the 2007 Civic Hybrid has over the other cars, and that is the Advanced Technology Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle rating. This basically means that you are not adding to the air pollutants around you when driving. So, not only are you getting a great deal on gas, you are saving the environment not just a little bit, but a lot.
Also jumping into the competition is General Motors with the Aura Hybrid. Although they are only the third manufacturer to jump on the wagon, the competition is already getting fierce. Though they claim the hybrid version will get 20 percent better fuel efficiency than the standard, it will be tough competition when going against the Accord and Camry.
Not only that, another popular family car, the Nissan Altima, is out with a 2007 model. Nissan and Toyota are sort of linked together for the next five years as well, with Nissan signing a deal to work with the Hybrid Technology of Toyota. Another car manufacturer, Volkswagen claims that they are going to take part in the Hybrid production as well, although they do not have any solid details.
Especially over the past few years, the environment has become a concern as well as extremely high gas prices and a downhill economy, all of these lead up to wanting and needing to save money. This is where the Hybrid does best, being able to save significant amounts of money as well as preserving mother earth. It will be interesting to see how things turn out from here on out.
