What is a military school? It is a learning institution that helps teenagers learn the values of discipline, responsibility, leadership and teamwork. It has a military-like structure and environment, which enables motivation in teenagers. In some cases, it is an alternative facility for those youth delinquents who are first-time offenders or non-violent.
However, not all teenagers can be in a military school regardless if they are troubled or not. There are certain qualifications. Unless the teenagers meet the standards, they would be advised to be with other learning institutions. For most troubled teen kids, they could not enter the military school if their behavior has already taken its toll on them. If they have emotional or behavioral problems, like depression and eating disorders, they are considered as unfit for such a school. The stringent instructions could make their condition much worse.
