Your meals are actually the most important part of losing weight. Exercise is important but it only accounts for about 20% of the weight you can lose. What you eat accounts for the other 80%. Therefore, finding a great eating program is the single most important aspect of losing weight.
Just because it is called a diet it doesn't mean you will be eating less or cutting out some of your favorite dishes. A great diet actually works with your favorite meals and allows you to eat more than before while losing more than you ever did or thought possible.
The first thing you need to know is why you haven't been able to lose weight. Eating three big meals during the day actually slows down your metabolism and makes it very hard for your body to break down food and digest it. This is why you are probably tired after a big meal like the one you eat on Thanksgiving. Your body is using up all your energy to digest the food and it forces you to lay down or take a nap.
Eating smaller meals during the day will help your body work at a pace it can handle. You will be burning calories all day long which will help you lose weight at every moment during the day, even when you are sleeping.
The key to losing weight is to stop making excuses and stop procrastinating. Procrastination is one of the most popular excuses and reasons that cause people not to lose weight. Starting today by finding a diet for you is going to make all the difference in losing weight.
