Riverfront Property For Sale

PARRISH, Fla. (February 26, 2007) ? Riv? Isle Golf & Nautical Estates, a picturesque island community located in the west coast of Florida, began active construction in October. The construction of the178 home-site, 500-acre property infrastructure, situated along the peaceful Manatee River, is nearing completion. Riv? Isle is being developed by the Vernon Group of Sarasota.
Construction of the magnificent gated entry is already underway. Riv? Isle plans on welcoming its new residents with a Mediterranean style and fountain-encased entryway surrounded by the Manatee River inlets. As a private, gated community, Riv? Isle has initiated the construction of the wrought iron gates, which upon community completion will be monitored with 24-hour security.
A temporary sales center gallery is currently receiving guests until the permanent community club and guest boating dock, the River Lodge, is completed. Residents will have access to the River Lodge and all its amenities: cooking facilities, community dock, boat launch and kayak storage. Since the River Lodge will directly overlook the Manatee River, potential residents will be treated to guided boat tours to explore the waterways and choose their home site from the Manatee River. ?This is a truly unique approach in not just reading or hearing about a property, but experiencing it... there's nothing else like it!? said sales manager, Richard Moody.
Four of the six community bridges also began construction in October. These bridges are lined with wrought iron lampposts, balustrade railings and a 14-foot high clearance allowing resident boaters to glide easily beneath the bridges without awaiting a drawbridge. The bridges will provide direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. Additionally, a direct cut allows a large enough depth in the water for boats to glide easily into the gulf without hassle or hesitation.
The process of road construction and paving is also underway at Riv? Isle. Bases for the winding roads on the island, as well as the curbing for the community, are already in place.
Construction is being done by L.A. Enterprises Inc., located in Palmetto, FL. ?We've anticipated the beginning of the Riv? Isle Golf & Nautical Estates community project and are thrilled to have it underway,? said L.A. Enterprises president, Ron Wasden. The homebuilders tapped for estate construction are John Cannon Homes, Inc., Peregrine Homes Inc., Pruett Builders, Inc. and Arthur Rutenberg Homes. ?The team of builders we've assembled, simply has no equal when it comes to creating the ideal custom home,? said Moody. Building styles will be offered in Traditional, Mizner, Mediterranean and Spanish.
?I am confident about Riv? Isle's progression in construction. The real estate industry is at a comfortable pace now and Riv? Isle has a distinct quality that attracts and accommodates a variety of enthusiasts: boaters, golfers, retirees and/or vacationers. We've developed many projects over the years and seen a lot of community concepts along the way. Riv? Isle will truly be in a class of its own,? said Vernon Group president, Bill Vernon. ?With the first phase almost sold out, we expect Riv? Isle's recent construction progress to continue the high level of interest and feedback we're currently receiving from the local area and potential buyers,? Vernon added.
Riv? Isle Golf & Nautical Estates is an island living community adorned with cobbled crosswalks, lush landscaping, flowing fountains and amenities that fit every lifestyle. With 275 acres of pure nature preserve, 157 home-sites with dock availability on the Manatee River and private membership to the River Wilderness Country Club, boaters, golfers and athletes are all accommodated.
Riv? Isle offers membership to a championship golf course designed by Ted McAnlis, a Har-Tru? clay tennis Court, 3,800 square foot fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, message therapist and fitness director, Junior Olympic sized swimming pool with cabana area, and a country club restaurant, lounge and banquet facility only available to a maximum of 300 members. Riv? Isle Golf & Nautical Estates is located on 1 Wilderness Blvd. Parrish, FL.
The Vernon Group has been recognized for more than three decades for their luxurious design, development and construction. Vernon Group developments include country club communities, waterfront resorts and million-dollar-plus estate constructions throughout Florida. Custom homes and communities have been featured in Architectural Record, Florida Architect and Vanity Fair. Other Vernon Group developments include Longboat Key Moorings, River Wilderness Country Club, Oyster Creek Golf & Country Club and the DeBary Golf & Country Club.
