By the time he was 12 years old he already turned a pro skateboarder. He has since won multiple contests such as the Dew Tour, Gravity Games and even the biggest extreme sports competition; the X Games. Ryan Sheckler has a huge fan base that consists of skateboarding fans, teenagers, adults, and plenty of young girls that love his look. MTV has recently given him a deal to do his own T.V. show. It will follow his life as a pro skateboarder and a teenager. The show will give both Ryan Sheckler and skateboarding another huge boost in popularity. Skateboarding will continue to put out a large amount of superstars as the sport continues to grow. Sooner than later skateboarding will be on the same level as basketball, football, and baseball. As will the athletes that make the sports what they are.
