Size should be your first consideration. So you need to think carefully about what you are going to use your storage shed for. You will need to consider the foundation. It is not recommended to put your shed directly on the ground. A good foundation is important, make sure you have a level base on which to build the shed, otherwise the wall panels may be uneven and not line up properly.

Before starting, double check that you have all necessary building tools and supplies. You will not want to stop mid-project to purchase more tools or supplies.
