Let me ask you why do babies and littlies in general need fragranced skin care and bath wash?
Do we really need to smother our kids in fragrance derived from nasty allergy causing chemicals?
Afterall, every one knows and loves the " baby smell" and news flash it's a totally natural scent! Its not because we bath them in pefumed products and cover them in sweet smelling moisturizers.
A child of any age has their own gorgoeous smell due to their natural pherimones so why do we try and cover this up with irritants in the form of baby cosmetics?
Funnily enough one of the worlds most well known brands Johnson and Johnson can have the worst ingrediants for bubs listed in some of their baby care range.
For instance, Johnson and Johnson Baby Bath almost reeks with fragrance it is a gentle cleanser but the fragrance component is an allergic reaction just waiting to happen!
Of course have you ever checked the back of a Johnson and Johnson baby bath product? When you do you will find our old mate Sodium laureth sulfate listed within the first five ingrediants.
In general, a child's skin would be better off when we introduce it to products that are fragrance and colour free that contain light cleansing agents not skin stripping chemicals.
Go organic why not try using sweet almond oil in the bath instead! Need I say more?
