The last pro that I will address is the fact that you are not tied to any contract or have no obligation to complete the surveys that are sent to you. If you don't want to take surveys for a few days, then don't! I would highly recommend that you consider taking every survey. Why not? It is just a chance to make more money. But, don't stress if you miss a few, you will be ok.

The cons,

Sometimes you will receive gifts instead of cash. I find that this is ok especially if I can get gift cards to Target or Wal-Mart. This would allow me to spend my gift cards in the exact same way I would have spent the cash. If you are looking for a check to be mailed to your home, then you should probably stay away from the companies who do this.

The last drawback that I can think of today is the fact that most paid survey companies are only for residents of the United States or Canada. There is very little opportunity for people that live in other countries to take surveys. There are a few companies who do and there are more every day that are expanding their surveys to other countries, but it may be challenging to find them and receive enough surveys to be compensated how you would like to.

Overall, paid online surveys are a great way to supplement your income. Whether you are a stay at home mom or father who works full time, you will be able to earn some extra money that you didn't have in the first place!
