They know how to drive others to help them reach goals. They understand how to help others change behaviors so that strategies can be made.
There are many leadership qualities, but the most important ones are:

* One of the qualities of leadership that is often looked over, but is really essential, is delegations. Leaders know the knowledge and skills of their team. They maximize this knowledge by asking for help.
* Good leaders express appreciation when team members have done their job well and deserve acknowledgement. Leaders know the importance of rewarding team members, and they know when to do it.
* Leaders also hold the quality of respect. They try to treat others how they would like to be treated. They follow the Golden Rule. They don't just demand respect, but show that they deserve it.
* Good leaders set goals. They set clear objectives that are attainable and easy to understand.
* Leaders try to include creativity or innovation into the goals that are set.
* Good leaders don't just come up with strategies, they do their best to keep everyone involved in the plan.
* One of the most important qualities of leadership also includes encouraging integrity, values, and ethics, in the workplace.
John Quincy Adams subscribed to the believe that a leader is someone who inspires people to dream more, do more, learn more, and become more. If you are able to motivate people to do that, you are probably already becoming a great leader.
