Red Alert 3 Trainer 1.10
Richard Syner
Finding a Pilates trainer may actually be easier than you think. However, finding the best option based on your needs and preferences makes the search more challenging. You don't have to worry about it though because the popularity of Pilates has made it sufficiently advertised and promoted, making it accessible to everyone.
In as much as there are a number of Pilates exercises to choose from, the instructors who provide Pilates programs vary as well. There are a number of factors that you must consider in selecting the right Pilates trainer for you:
1. Check the credentials and professional training acquired by the trainers you wish to train under. Ask for references and look up their names in fitness organizations that oversee certification of these trainers.
2. Ask how long the person has been a Pilates trainer.
3. Are they certified in CPR & First Aid?
4. Ask around and try to talk to people who actually go and train with that particular trainer.
5. Do they offer one-on-one, group classes or both?
6. If you are convinced that the place is worth checking out, then schedule a guided tour or consultation with them. Some of these facilities even offer free trial classes, so take advantage of these to be sure that you actually like how they render their services.
7. Go by your gut instinct. If after you have interviewed the Pilates trainer you don't feel comfortable with that person, then continue your search elsewhere. It's your body and health and you deserve the best.
8. Ask about pricing, payment and refunds. You don't want to get stuck with pre-paid classes that you can't use if you got sick or had to move.
9. A good Pilates trainer will ask you about your medical history. You both need to be aware of any medical conditions that may affect your workout i.e diabetes, heart conditions or high blood pressure.
10. Many Pilates trainers also provide Pilates for rehabilitating back problems, arthritic conditions, sports injuries, postural problems such as scoliosis and post surgery conditions like knee and hip replacements. Even people who have suffered a stroke are benefiting from a specialized Pilates program. Ask your trainer if he or she has taken advanced Pilates training to address these conditions.
A good Pilates trainer can make all the difference in your fitness program. Trainers who are knowledgeable, caring and take a personal interest in your health goals will ultimately give you the most benefits for your buck.
