Sentences and paragraphs should be short and straight to the point but long enough to include everything that the customer needs to know. It does not hurt to be thrifty from time to time but if it is the kind of thrift that a fool uses when he saves dime but losses dollars, a kind of stupid stinginess, it is not thrift at all. This kind of stinginess will hurt your business and your social life. So when you start your advertising, do it right. As most magazine advertising speaks of products that will be disposed of in a week or so, booklet advertising refers to goods that will carry throughout the entire season.
