Maui, A Hawaiian Beaches Paradise
Markele Smith
Just naming Hawaii is bringing to mind the warm climate of Hawaii, its native dancer and the ukulele chords welcoming visitors with a smile and a leis, the fragrant necklace of flowers that comes along with an aloha-Hawaii greeting. Maui is the second largest Hawaiian Island famous for its white sandy beaches and benevolent climate all year round.
Maui comprises numerous beaches that offer a splendid nature frame for water sports, swimming and sunbathing. In the south of the island, visitors can find the less crowded beaches including Kealia, with a six-mile coastline, Wailea, and Polo Beach, all of them providing visitors with restrooms, aquatic equipment and gears rental, picnic areas and lifeguards services, being safe for family-oriented traveling with children.
Also in the south of Maui, the secluded Maluaka Beach within the is the most sought-after refugee of solitaire people and honeymooners. At this place, it is really easy see green sea turtles and exotic vegetation and flora in the surroundings. Beyond Maluaka, the Makena Big Beach is a large and quite beach with many amenities.
Heading to the west there is a coastal road going from Maui from Lahaina and ending in Kapalua, shoreline plenty of excellent beaches that include Kaanapali Beach, Oneloa Bay Beach, Napili Bay, DT Fleming Beach and Kapalua Beach, all of them with splendid waterfronts for sailing, surfing, skiing, swimming, and snorkeling at Black Rock Beach in the end of the road.
Many of the beaches in Maui are still undeveloped, although most of them have an already established hospitality industry making easier stay for the night in your chosen destination. There is also a complex of three beaches in south Maui, Kama'ole I, Kama'ole II, and Kama'ole III, which are also ideal for family vacations.
Ka'anapali Beach, Ho'okipa Beach Park, and Kanaha Beach Park are worldwide famous as the best windsurfing beaches home to annual championships and other aquatic events. In east Maui, the lush settings offer panoramic views that you must seen if your travel planning includes Hawaii.
Among Maui's eastern beaches we can name Hamoa Beach, Red Sand Beach, and Hana Bay Beach, which contrast with other Maui beaches because of its volcanic black sand. In north Maui, only Ho'okipa Beach Park in Ha'iku, and Baldwin Beach Park, Pa'ia are worth a visit.
Because of Maui is full of beaches promising great leisure moments, it is enough taking a peak to the list of them to understand why Maui is truly a beaches paradise in the heart of Hawaii and "the proof of the pudding is in the eating" if you read on.
Haycraft Park, Sugar Beach, Kalepolepo Beach Park, Mai Poina 'Oe Ia'u Park (Memorial Park), Charley Young Beach, Cove Park, Keawakapu Beach, Mokapu Beach, Ulua Beach, Wailea Beach, Makena Landing, Makena State Park, Naupaka Beach (Black Sand Beach), Little Beach, La Perouse, and Park Central Maui are just a few other beaches situated in the south of the island, but there are many more to discover in your next trip.
