A text description of each image on your page can significantly affect your Search Engine rankings. Keywords can be included in the image descriptions as well as image specific descriptive phrases. Some Search Engines even offer ?image searches? that depend heavily on the image name (the SRC attribute) and the ALT attribute.
2.Limit the size of the ALT description to a brief sentence, usually not more than about 10-15 words

2.Include important keyword phrases in the link text.
3.Surround links with important keyword phrases in your content.
4.Keep the link text from 3-8 words and do not stuff multiple keyword phrases in every link.
The text in hyperlinks can help improve your Search Engine rankings. Search Engines assume that what you link to is relevant to your website, thus most Search Engines treat your outbound links with the same kind of weight that they give to keyword phrases.
Inbound Links
A key to modern Search Engine placement is the number of other websites that reference yours. If your website is popular in terms of other site references, then the Search Engines consider your site to be ?relevant? and reward it with better rankings.
The best way to get inbound links is to have other sites post links to your site. This means setting up a links page on your site where you can post links to other sites in exchange for them listing yours.
?Link Farms? and other pseudo directories claim they will list your site and get you many inbound links for a fee. Search Engines consider these sites spam. Never go behind such false promises or you may end up with nothing.
