Humans subconsciously react to colours and associate them with dissimilar feelings and emotions.Colours do not only bring up emotions and thoughts that might influence how a site is received but they can also be utilised cleverly to point users in the direction of certain sections of your site.Every colour imaginable could be used on the Internet now, so choosing the right colours may be a daunting task. Here is a quick summary of how some colours may evoke certain reactions.
Yellow may be associated with hazard, hope, friendship and wealth. The darker side of purple could be very deep and luscious. It could be associated with royalty, spirituality, arrogance and luxury. The lighter end may stand for romance and delicacy. It is a colour that is not really used much on web-sites.Bounteous of enterprise, vibrancy and stimulation, orange is a noted colour to use in web design. It can be used to bring a feelings of youthfulness to a design.
It is evident that colours do not just make a web site look pretty, but they also show an underlying effect of user experience and may thus dictate how successful a site could be. Getting the colours right can create a site that users can identify and will make them more willing to use, uncover and promote the site to friends. Getting the colours wrong can inadvertently put users off and show them switch off in droves.
