Home Based Business ? Dream Or Nightmare?

I am a single mom and have been working
from home successfully for nearly ten years.  I honestly can't imagine going
back to working in an office environment.  That said, challenges do exist, and
it's how you navigate those challenges that determines how successful you are.
 
Here are some considerations I would
recommend:
THE DREAM (a.k.a. benefits)
 
?        
Amazing Flexibility: You choose which hours you work.  You
don't require anyone's permission to visit a doctor, attend your child's school
function, or just take a day off to relax out on the deck or in the back yard. 
You can take as many vacations and trips as you'd like, and can take a laptop to
work at the beach, in a caf?, or anywhere that suits you.
?        
Independence:
 You make your own business decisions without a hierarchy of approval.  Say
goodbye to waiting around until someone gets back to you about whether or not
you can take the next step you envisioned.
?        
Productivity: 
You can actually be more productive working from home.  Think about it ? you can
have a load of laundry in the washer, dinner in the oven, and can still be
pecking away at your laptop ? earning income while keeping up with daily
responsibilities.
?        
Comfort: 
Work in your pajamas if you want!  Set up your office in any way that suits
you.  Buy a really comfy chair to sit in.  Listen to music if it's not too
distracting.  Decorate your walls with creative or inspiring images.  Situate
yourself near a window so that you can see green grass and trees while you
work.  You no longer need to sit in a chair that hurts your back because someone
else bought it, while staring at a cubicle or office walls all day.  Nor do you
need to listen to co-workers? gossip or complaints while trying to get something
done.

Financial Success:  You are paid in direct relation to what you do, how
you do it, and how much time and effort you put in.  For me, this is the single
most gratifying part of working from home.  In the past, if I worked as hard or
as well for other employers, they always got the benefit of those efforts.  Now,
when I'm doing a great job, I reap the rewards.  If you choose the right
home-based business opportunity (like I did), the sky is the limit for income
potential!
 
So if you're thinking about working from
home, you've likely heard mixed reviews.  The Internet is inundated with ?work
from home? opportunities ? some great and viable, and others a little scary?and
definitely not viable.  You wonder, can you really make a lucrative income
working from home?  Absolutely.  Is it a good choice for you?  That depends on
many factors, including your personality type, your other responsibilities,
skills and professional attributes, and the work-from-home opportunity you
choose.  In order to make an informed decision, you need to hear a balanced
