Envelope Printing As Part Of A Marketing Campaign
Chelsea Nicole
In my experience a whole marketing campaign is not just about one medium. It is the combination of several types of print media. This is an all out attack if you will that lets you target your key audiences for your marketing strategies. The combination of fliers, brochures, postcards, posters, banners and other print media is essential to a whole marketing campaign. In line with this, I am here to talk about a little known medium for marketing, envelope printing. When you use envelopes, some people hardly think about it. It is just a container for something being sent. Little do the know that envelopes can be a good supplement for a marketing campaign. When you print envelopes yourself you have a hand in the design process. You can place a subtle marketing message through it. This makes envelope printing a good part of a marketing campaign. Here we will discuss the particular ways on using custom for your company. Read through all of them and you'll be attacking your marketing problem in a unique way.
Adding your company logo or project motif:
The first and easiest way for a custom color envelope is to add your project's or the company's logo. This is simple enough. With the sender name and address add your logo beside it. Of course invest on a full color envelope so that your logo appears very well. Having a logo on your envelope makes the mail more official and makes it look more important. It might interest people to open an envelope like this and see what important messages it has inside.
Placing a short message or tag line:
Next, other people write a short message or tag line to their color envelope. A simple enticing or mysterious statement will do so that people will be interested in opening the envelope. Be sure to write a good tag line. Refrain from sounding too much like an advertisement since most people just throw ?junk mail? like that. Don't use words such as ?Good Deals? or ?You can be a Winner!? Instead try a good quotation from a famous person, your company philosophy or a witty tag line. Doing this uniquely will gain enough of a person's attention for them to open the envelope.
Embedding promotional Images:
If you have a significant budget to throw around, you can also embed images to your envelope. This makes it more eye-catching and you can directly send your marketing message across just by using the envelope. Again, use enticing or mysterious designs so that people would be curious to open the envelope and learn more. companies can in fact color with images. You don't have to print or paste in your images yourself.
Use the envelope itself as a message:
Lastly, you can even use the envelope itself to pass on the message. For example, why not use a different color envelope? While most people use white envelopes, how about passing along a black envelope with silver lettering? People will think ?oh? What's this!?? They will then read the envelope and what's inside it. This saves your marketing material from being thrown the trash. For a more simple approach use your company or project's color theme on the envelope itself. Also if your envelope printing company can make other custom sized envelopes why not try that to further make your envelope unique.
Great! Those are the pointers you need to include custom envelope printing as part of your business marketing campaign. Always remember that its better to use different approaches to marketing so that you can bring your message to different kinds of people. Good luck!
