Maximize Your Bargaining Skill: Tips In Auction Bidding
Mico Blanco
You've done it once, then twice and before you knew it, you're finding more pleasure doing it. Bargaining can be fun. The products for auction comes in different variety at a price someone can afford. While some gets good items, some get half the quality.. How can one be a good bidder? Take this smart chick tips.
1.Make sure to let the agent know you are interested. Before the auction commences, some items are already sold. Stick to the agent's mind that you are after the thing. Try asking if they can make offers or make the offer by yourself.
2.If you decide to join an auction fair, be sure to arrive at the place early to check on the items. Go around and ask the vendors about the sales contract, the rules before the items will be displayed in any minute. Asking would be perfect. If you have something popping up and go, ask questions.
3.Observe if the property is passed in below the reserve. It is very crucial to take note of this. At this stage, the owner through the auctioneer will do the negotiation first with highest bidder.
4.Once the owner announces that the thing would passed in, this would be the best time to use a strategy making it sure that you will be the best auctioneer and the owner will consider negotiating with you. Observing would be great.
5.It would be too late if the property is passed in. Late bidders are no longer accommodated and the owner can't re open the bid for him. This is to secure someone who bid ahead of time.
6.The span of time to negotiate with the owner depends whether you, the auctioneer is prepared to accept the price. Once you both agree on the price, the negotiation ends. Sometimes, if you are not prepared to accept the price, the owner might end the negotiation and commence to another who is interested in the item.
7.No confidence? Bee cool. If you think you are uncomfortable bidding, try using a buyers agent in assisting you on your behalf during the auction if you are not confident enough.
Practice makes perfect. If you failed during the first try, do it again on the second. By that time, you will be more prepared, bolder and more confident to bid.
