Buy More is a play on the stores Best Buy and the Nerd Herd is an imitation of their Geek Squad. Morgan Grimes, who is the best friend of Chuck also works with him as part of the Nerd Herd.

The pilot episode of the television series was all anyone needed to get completely hooked on this hilarious show. It opens with Chuck receiving an email from one of his old college friends from Stanford, Bryce Larkin. Bryce is a CIA agent who has gone rogue and has decided to send Chuck an email of the last remaining copy of all of the CIA spy secrets that the United States of America has put together over the years. However, this was not any ordinary email because instead of a normal text, it had an attachment which embedded itself in Chucks mind when it was opened. This storyline plays out throughout the episode and season and is one of the many things that makes Chuck Season One on DVD such a hot commodity.
