Christian Work Home Jobs
Ada Denis
It is the dream, soon to become a reality. Being able to work at home is a dream of many people. There are many stumbling blocks on the road to being able to work at home. Some of these road blocks are natural ones that will come up whenever you look for a work at home job. Some of these will be finding a work at home job and getting hired for one or more work at home jobs. Once you have found your work at home job, you may think that all of your hard work is done. Guess again. There is the whole transition to a work at home job that you need to take care of.
1. You need to quit your full time brick and mortar job to make the transition to your work at home job. You need to do this the correct way so that you do not burn your bridges. As excited as you are to start your work at home job, you need to give at least two weeks notice. A resignation letter is one of the better ways to announce that you will be leaving the company.
2. As you are working your two weeks' notice at your brick and mortar job, it is a good idea to get your home office set up. To be successful at your work at home job, you need to have some type of home office. A desk in the corner of your bedroom will work for a home office for your work at home job, if space is limited where you live.
What you will need for your home office we vary depending on what type of work at home job that you will have. The basics that you will need are a desk, chair, computer with Internet access, printer, fax, pens, paper, and a telephone line.
3. Figure out when you will be working your work at home job. This is important to know so that you can tell people that you will be unavailable for personal stuff during these hours. Many people are the misconception that a work at home job does not need set hours. You have to dedicate time each day to your work at home job to make a living at it. It is just like your brick and mortar; you need to put the time into a work at home job to get money from it.
