Cisco Training London
Scott Edwards
If you're looking for Cisco Training in London and you have not yet worked with routers, you will need the Cisco CCNA qualification. This will give you the skills to set up and maintain routers.
Large companies who have several locations use routers to connect their networks in different buildings to allow their networks to keep in touch. The Internet is also built up of hundreds of thousands of routers.
As routers are connected to networks, it's important to have prior knowledge of how networks operate, or you'll struggle with the qualification and not be able to do the work. Look for a course that includes basic networking skills (such as CompTIA) before you start the CCNA.
There's also a second higher level, namely CCNP. We recommend that you don't consider training for CCNP until you've had a couple of years in the industry. There are two reasons for this:
1. You may decide then that you don't need to take it based on what job you're doing.
2. The CCNP is a difficult qualification, and experience will assist you in passing.
Cisco Training In And Around London...
Look for an interactive course delivered via a library of discs which you can use on your PC or laptop. This means that there's no need to leave your home to study. This removes the inconvenience, time and cost of travelling to a college to study, and provides you with the very latest in training tools.
Training of this nature starts with an easy to follow video tutorial. Next is a demonstration, and then a virtual lab where you can practice what you've just been taught. This is a comfortable, and most natural way to learn your skill. This state of the art training will complete your knowledge without the need for technical manuals and many hours of reading.
With this level of course 24/7 online mentoring is a must. As you're probably starting to realise, many providers claim 24/7 support, but in reality it is usually no more than a message system out of office hours. If you are studying alongside a job, frustration will soon set in so please keep looking till you find such a support system.
