Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm the average Joe type, working for 8 hours a day for six (maybe seven) days in a week. While growing up, my dream was to be a chef, but somewhere down the line, I decided it wasn't practical and went into a different career instead. Now I'm a desk jock and I'm finding it a bit boring and repetitive. Fortunately, my girlfriend has a knack for bringing excitement into my life.
With the recession happening, many people have cut back on spending, and I went along with the times. I used to be so busy, I went out to eat at restaurants for almost every meal, but recently, I decided to go back to my old passion for cooking. Packing a lunch and creating my own dinner is much more practical in these times.
Unfortunately, I am very skeptical about my apartment's kitchen counter. I've never used it before, but in the same light, I think the people who previously lived here used it a lot, and the grout in between the tiles in particular is extremely dirty. I'm pretty certain I would get sick if I decide to prepare food there.
Determined to cook my own dinners, I decided to roll-up my sleeves and get to work cleaning the counters. And the rest of the house, too, while I'm at it, so I can invite my girlfriend over. Unfortunately, a few minutes of scrubbing made me realize just how hard it is to clean grout. I did some light reading and found out it was made of porous cement. Being so, it had absorbed all the food particles that it made contact with. Maybe for years. So all the grime have seeped in thoroughly.
If I had the luxury to, I'd spend hours cleaning the grout back to a perfect white. But as I've said, I work at least six days a week, and I'd prefer to keep Sunday as a pure relaxation day. Thus, I scoured the internet in search of anyone who cleans grout professionally.
