First of all, let me clarify: I am not a concrete polishing contractor. I am simply someone who, at one point, decided to have my floor tiles removed. So what makes polished concrete stand out? What makes it so much better than its competitors out in the market today? Well, a lot of factors really, so let's look at them one by one.

Firstly, the very image of a polished, concrete floor invokes a feeling of elegance. These objects of absolute beauty and its sleekness are pleasing to the eye. It's also polished so well, you only need minimal artificial light for the better part of the day. You will notice how the sunlight repeatedly reflects off the floor.

There's also its definite cost-efficiency. Unless you plan on doing the diamond tooling yourself, you don't actually purchase new materials. If you remove your carpet or tile, you will mostly find concrete underneath your house. So, the only thing you actually pay for is the service of the contractor that will work the magic on your floor.

Also notably important is its low-maintenance. You see, the process of polishing closes the concrete at a molecular level, making it stronger, and also keeps away the collecting dust about it. The shine remains for a long time, and all you need to do is sweep it to maintain it.

To close this article, I will note that concrete is indeed very durable. I do not think that needs to be disputed at all, and with the additional protection of the polishing process, your floor will keep for years to come.
