Do You Know These 6 Natural Hemorrhoids Remedies That'll Prevent Future Flare-Ups?
Steve Johansson
However, there are 6 hemorrhoids remedies that can be implemented to relieve the symptoms of hemorrhoids and to prevent them from coming back again. Unfortunately, hemorrhoids will get worse with age and it's prudent to take the steps necessary to prevent outbreaks.
1) Don't read on the toilet. Sitting on the toilet for longer than 5 minutes produces unnecessary strain on the abdominal region and causes you to over-push and not pay attention to your contractions. This can cause strain which has been shown to exacerbate hemorrhoids
2) Get a proper amount of fiber in your diet. Having irregular bowel movements can result in large hard stools that can create strain in the anus and the lower rectum. This can result in the blood vessels in the anal region to become irritated and increase the chances of hemorrhoid formation. Good sources of fiber are fruits, whole grains, and vegetables.
3) Keep the anal area clean. Make sure you use towelettes or baby wipes to clean the area. When you use too much pressure while wiping, it can irritate the anal region and increase the chances of hemorrhoid flare-ups. Keep away from harsh soaps that could exacerbate hemorrhoids can be one of the best hemorrhoids remedies.
4) Drink lots of water. Drinking more fluids keeps the stool soft so they don't irritate the lower rectum and anus. Eat more fiber containing foods and drinking at least 8 glasses of water. This will prevent constipation and allow you to produce softer stools that'll reduce irritation to the lower rectum.
5) Get more exercise. Walking at least once a day reduces strain on the bowels and increases the chance of producing stools that are softer and easier to pass. Make sure you find at least 20 minutes a day to go for a walk. Also, make sure you shift your position in your chair at least once every hour if your job requires sitting down a lot. This will minimize pressure on the anus that could cause hemorrhoids to form.
6) Always exhale when straining or lifting. This can cause blood vessels in the lower rectum and anus to enlarge and create a hemorrhoid. Severe coughing can also cause blood vessels in the anus to burst, this increasing the chances of hemorrhoid formation.
Even though many people go through the above hemorrhoids remedies, they still suffer from hemorrhoids. Surgery is the ultimate result; however, it is possible to minimize the symptoms of hemorrhoids so you'll be more comfortable and live life to the fullest.
