If you don't have optimized your site or page for seo, do it with good seo tools! It's important for you, make your site easy for google.
Some secure ways to website promotion and get more views include:
1.signing up for social bookmarking services like del.icio.us, ma.gnolia, and digg and posting your pages;
2.posting blog on technorati (and on other important bloggers)
3.posting on track comments to blogs related to your topic with a profile that links to your page (technorati is good for finding these);
4.posting to forums related to your topic and including a link to your page in your signature;
5.submitting your page to search engines;
6.posting articles related to your page (if original is the best) to free article sites with a link in the resource box to your page.
