The Lord Repents But Allah Never Ever Repents In Bible Versus Quran; Array (84)
Dr. Ibrahim Khalil
The Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do.
Exodus 32:14
And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
The Lord repented of the evil that He has pronounced.
Jeremiah 26:13
Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the Lord your God; and the Lord will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
Jeremiah 26:19
Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the Lord, and besought the Lord, and the Lord repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.
Amos 7:3
The Lord repented for this: It shall not be, saith the Lord.
Amos 7:6
The Lord repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord God.
The Lord commanded David to number the people.
David did, but the Lord Punished him because he did.
The Lord killed 70,000 men, and then He repented.
Read the following Chapter.
2 Samuel 24
1And again the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah
2For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people.
3And Joab said unto the king, Now the Lord thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my Lord the king may see it: but why doth my Lord the king delight in this thing?
4Notwithstanding the king's word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went out from the presence of the king, to number the people of Israel.
5And they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad, and toward Jazer:
6Then they came to Gilead, and to the land of Tahtimhodshi; and they came to Danjaan, and about to Zidon,
7And came to the strong hold of Tyre, and to all the cities of the Hivites, and of the Canaanites: and they went out to the south of Judah, even to Beersheba.
8So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days.
9And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.
10And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the Lord, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O Lord, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
11For when David was up in the morning, the word of the Lord came unto the prophet Gad, David's seer, saying,
12Go and say unto David, Thus saith the Lord, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.
13So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.
14And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the Lord; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.
15So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.
16And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.

Allah Never Ever Repents in the Quran:
Allah is not a human to Repent!
59:23
QARIB: He is Allah; there is no god except Him. He is the King, the Pure, the Peace, the Confirmer, the Watchful, the Almighty, the Compeller and the Sublime. Exalted is Allah, above all that they associate!
SHAKIR: He is Allah, besides whom there is no god; the king, the Holy, the Giver of peace, the Granter of security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the Supreme, the Possessor of every greatness Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him)
PICKTHAL: he is Allah, than whom there is no other Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy one, the Peace, the Keeper of faith, the Guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, and the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him).
YUSUFALI: Allah is he, than whom there is no other god;- the sovereign, the holy one, the source of peace (and perfection), the guardian of faith, the preserver of safety, the exalted in might, the irresistible, the supreme: glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.
---------------
Man does not know Allah exactly!
39:67
QARIB: they have not valued Allah with his true value. But on the day of resurrection, the entire earth will be in His grip, and the heavens shall be rolled up upon in His Right. Exaltations to him! Exalted high is he above all that they associate!
SHAKIR: and they have not honored Allah with the honor that is due to Him; and the whole earth shall be in His grip on the day of resurrection and the heavens rolled up in His Right Hand; Glory be to Him, and may He be Exalted above what they associate (with Him)
PICKTHAL: and they esteem not Allah as he hath the right to be esteemed, when the whole earth is His handful on the day of resurrection, and the heavens are rolled in his right hand. Glorified is He and High Exalted from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him).
YUSUFALI: no just estimate have they made of Allah, such as is due to him: on the day of judgment the whole of the earth will be but His Handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in his Right Hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the partners they attribute to Him!
---------------
Allah is far beyond your imagination and thought!
17:43
QARIB: exaltations are to him! High indeed be he exalted above what they say!
SHAKIR: glory be to him and exalted be he in high exaltation above what they say
PICKTHAL: glorified is he, and high exalted above what they say!
YUSUFALI: glory to him! He is high above all that they say! - Exalted and Great (beyond measure)!
---------------
Allah is the doer of whatever he wants.
85:16
QARIB: the doer of whatever he wants.
SHAKIR: the great doer of what he will
PICKTHAL: doer of what he will.
YUSUFALI: doer (without let) of all that he intends.
---------------
Allah is not to be questioned about what he does, but man shall be questioned.
21:23
QARIB: he is not to be questioned about what he does, but they shall be questioned.
SHAKIR: he cannot be questioned concerning what he does and they shall be questioned
PICKTHAL: he will not be questioned as to that which he doeth, but they will be questioned.
YUSUFALI: he cannot be questioned for his acts, but they will be questioned (for theirs).
