Unlike in a regular poker game where each player is dealt their own hands in Red Dog Poker there is only I hand dealt and that goes in the center of the table and the object of the game is to bet on whether or not the third card will numerically fall between the first two cards this is called the Spread.

For example let us say the lower of the first 2 cards is an 8 and the other card is a Queen. You are now betting on if the nest card will be a 7, 8, 9, 10 or a Jack. The closer the cards are to each other the higher the payout.

The game is played with each player at the table placing a bet. The bet can be any amount as long as it is within the tables Minimum and Maximum bet. The dealer then deals 2 cards, and marks the spread on the table which lets you know how big the payout is for a win.

You now have the choice of keeping your bet the same or raising the bet and if the next card you are dealt falls within the spread. You may only raise the bet by the same amount of your original bet before the cards were dealt.

In the event that the first 2 cards are the same then a 3rd is and if it is equal to the other 2 cards each player is paid 11 to 1 if it is not it is a push and each player gets their original bets back.

If the first 2 cards are consecutive numbers like a 5 and 6 then it is also a push and each player gets their bets back.
