There was once a time when you can get a house for no money down and real estate was fun and exciting, but now it is a different game. Most people that buy a real estate course will take it home and let it sit on the shelf for a few years and forget about it, money spent, money lost. Why do these real estate speakers do this? It is because they can legally get away with it, taking your money. They are all selling the same techniques; it’s just packaged a little differently.

Here is what some of them do: they convince you to buy their $995 dollar special, then they say that there is a boot camp coming up in a few weeks in which they will show you how to do the deal, but there is a catch, it will cost you an additional $1000 dollars. There is always something else to buy in order to go that extra step. Once you go to the boot camp and come back there is another step to take and more money to dish out.

Please don’t fall victim to this cycle of false hopes of quick money and wasted time. You need to know what you want to do and be willing to do it. You need to educate yourself and be prepared to go into this field. Knowledge is power when it is applied in the right way that is the key to making money in real estate in today’s unpredictable market. There are ways that are out there to make money in real estate; you just need to know what they are and what works best for you.

When you find someone you trust and feel comfortable with, then maybe you can work with that person, but always be aware of the steps that you will need to get things done.
