The best way to attract subscribers is to give something away. That's right I said free. Think about the last time you saw a "squeeze page" offer a free report. If the report offered content that was interesting to you, you probably signed up right away. After you had nothing to lose right? Not exactly.
By signing up to receive your free report you provided your name and email address. And that my dear friends are the name of the game! You just added your name to someone's list for help visit www.build-own-list.com. Sure you got a free report, but they received something much more valuable. Now hopefully you have enjoyed the free report and will be open to them when they make an offer the next time they contact you.
So my friends that are exactly what you need to do. Create a free report, e-book, newsletter, or a gift of some sort. Put it in PDF format so that it is easily available for down load. Create the "squeeze page" and capture their information and you are well on your way to building a huge list.
So let's review the basic steps:
1.) Write your own report. Take a little time and do some proper research. Content is important and you will establish credibility. Anywhere from 3 to 5 pages should be enough. But if you are feeling out going you can do up to 20!
2.) Write articles and blogs and invite people to come "squeeze page" There is normally a reference box provided where you can give a short bio and your web address. Each blog and article publisher has different rules. So be sure to check first and see if this is allowed. If not, move on to the next.
3.) Join forums and get involved. Do not go in trying to sell. You will only turn people off. Join in active debate for a couple of weeks minimum! Now hopefully you have enjoyed the free report and will be open to them when they make an offer the next time they contact you. Become a part of the community for help visit www.build-huge-list.com. Only then can you invite people to check out your page. Again be sure to stick to the rules of the forum. Otherwise you could get kicked out.
