Are Toxins Welcome In Your Body?
Joni Bell
Detoxification must be viewed as a total body process for all of the body's organ systems, which must all be addressed if total body detoxification is to be effective. Detoxification therapy, especially fasting, is the oldest known medical treatment.
Detoxification may produce symptoms of headaches, nausea, malaise and vomiting due to the toxins being released [Herxheimer Reaction]. Detoxification procedures includes homeopathic remedies, ozone therapy and acupuncture, massage, thermal chambers (sauna), herbal liver and kidney cleansing formulas, antioxidants, mega vitamin/mineral supplements. Detoxification is a process and can be a gentle cleansing or a more rigorous therapy, where many foods are completely avoided over a long period of time.
Detoxification is necessary to keep our bodies one step ahead of the unprecedented load of toxins the modern world is bombarding us with today, like pesticides, industrial pollutants, synthetic medications, food additives, car exhaust and cigarette smoke. Detoxification treatments become necessary when the body's natural detoxification systems become overwhelmed.
Unarguably, two of the mostly overlooked when it comes to detoxification are the liver and kidneys. When the liver is overworked the kidneys try to pick up the slack. Therefore it vitally important that when approaching a liver detoxification program, to prevent an out-of-balance condition in the body, that the kidneys also be supported as well. Most people do not realize how vital the liver, our largest internal organ, really is.
When the liver is over-stressed all other organs start to dysfunction. If liver function can be improved the entire body will benefit. If the liver is unable to perform its full function, it will not only become even more toxic, but all the other organs are challenged in a domino effect. Simply said, if your liver did not continuously remove metabolic trash and toxins from your blood, you would be dead in a very short time frame.
Juice fasting is an excellent choice for detoxification, because it supplies an abundance of nutrients, including enzymes and calories to reduce the cleansing intensity to a more comfortable level. Juices contain good sources of antioxidants and enzymes, both of which are needed for cleansing and eliminating toxins.
Colon cleansing is the first channel in the detoxification process. A clogged colon must be cleared first before embarking on any deeper cleansing programs specifically designed to treat Candida or parasites.
Diets are very important and are usually the basis for any detox program, whether it is herbs, cleansing or other detox programs.
Detoxification treatment has become one of the cornerstones of alternative medicine. Natural cleanse products uses ingredients that work as closely as possible with your body's natural processes so you don't have to worry about anything.
A detox program can help the body's natural cleaning process by: 1) Resting the organs through fasting; 2) Stimulating the liver to drive toxins from the body; 3) Promoting elimination through the intestines, kidneys and skin; 4) Improving circulation of the blood; and 5) Refueling the body with healthy nutrients.
Sweating is the body's safe and natural way to heal, stay healthy, and detoxify. First and foremost, it is important to understand how sweat can help you detoxify. Sweating helps the body release heat and keeps your internal core temperature as consistent as needed to detoxify. Sweat glands are distributed over the majority of the human body and are needed to detoxify.
Detoxify and feel alive and healthy again with more energy, less fatigue, and a stronger immune system. Detoxification is virtually mandatory because it is so hard to know what you have been exposed. It is easy if we eat a wholesome natural organic diet and live life in a natural way. Every morning you take a shower, and every 3 months you give your car an oil change to keep it running smoothly, but when was the last time you gave your body an internal cleansing.
