Diamonds Are Nature's Perfect Investment
Derek Dashwood
The story of diamonds has involved vast corporations, but also involved were renegade personalities who stuck their necks out, and diamond mining around the world has been no exception. And if that is how they make things work, then it is natural to continue as long as that works. It seems one of those obvious truths to mention that diamonds are nature's perfect investment. Many sources have been referenced in this articlle. To hold diamonds in such high esteem requires that we defend that position: that diamonds are nature's perfect investment. How can this be? Well, we know that diamonds come to us illuminating and serene in their sparkling majesty.
We know that diamonds are pure carbon, yet are closely associated with common coal, also of the carbon family. We know that diamonds are considered essential in wedding ceremonies around the world. The wedding would not be complete without at least one large diamond, with likely more diamonds embedded in a regal framework in a golden ring. This ceremony has become quite international, and new brides in Japan or China or New Delhi all look regal with their gold rings and their diamonds, and in India in particular often many diamonds.
In India, diamonds are sewn into garments as well as adornments on the female body. As more recently in the west, young females adorn their bodies with body jewelry and diamonds become nose studs, or otherwise as elsewhere displayed on the human antomy. Diamonds are being treated in new ways these days. In addition to the use of high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) methods that transform common tinted diamonds into highly priced colorless and fancy color diamonds.A diamond, after all, is that simplest of all gemstones.
A diamond is pure, crystallzed carbon. A diamond is the same subtance, in a chemical sense,as the soot left over on the inside of a glass glbe after the burning of a candle. It is much the same substance used in lead pencils. The diamond difers from all other gems in its crystal form, which gives it the desirable properties which have created in it its prized searchh for perfection. The diamond is rare in its hardness, which gives it unequalled wearabilitiy, its brilliance and its fire.
The diamond does differ from those in a crystal form, and that gives the diamond thedesirable properties that make it so valuable. The diamond is the hardest sustance known, but it can be chipped at a certain angles, and if the "girdle", the edge of the diamond that makes up the permimeter, is chhipped too thin, then the diamond can be chipped with even a modest blow. The transparent white,or more correctly a colorless diamond, is the most popular. Some diamonds may have a hue that allowe them to be sold forhigher prices as fancy diamonds.
Four Factors Determine Diamond Value
These are the "four Cs"
1. Color (body color or absence of color)
2. Clarity (degree of flawlessness)
3. Cutting and Proportioning (aka the make)
4. Carat weight (which affects the size)
Some purists would however rank them in this order.
You are free to Fly you Flag Your Way
1.Cutting and Proportioning
2.Color
3.Clarity
4.Karat weight
We do hope you enjoy your search for weatlh with enjoyment. Diamonds are really hot on the market, with those vast new finds up in Canada and over in Australia. Good news indeed, in that those Fifth Avenue Jewelry Shoppes are partnering in what can only be good news for all.
