How To Deal With Self-Sabotage

These are often to be found lurking in your subconscious body-mind and are considered to be at the very root of what stops you getting what you feel you really want in life.
These limiting beliefs need to be exposed and seen for what they are - just beliefs. They need to be brought into awareness because once you become aware of their existence and where they came from you are automatically empowered to make conscious positive choices about your life without these limiting beliefs getting in the way.They lose their power to hold you back and so you can start to make changes ... because with awareness comes choice
Limiting beliefs and the inner struggle and conflict that comes with them usually come about because you feel you DON'T DESERVE the things you desire or because deep down there is a feeling of emptiness or a void that you are not sure could ever be filled even if you could get to the point of recognising and facing it. This feeling is often at the bottom of other feelings such as fear of abandonment, anger, jealousy, self-criticism and so on and is usually indicated by a feeling of lack.
Despite the fact that at heart we all have a natural bias towards reaching for the best, and at the deepest level our nature is one of unlimited potential, magnificent power, truly capable of manifesting our deepest heart's desires, this often gets covered over or blocked by the layers of negative beliefs we have picked up and learned over time. We develop or accumulate protective layers based on fear, often to cover up what we see as our vulnerability, imperfection or un-lovability - something we learned during the ups and downs of the stages of growth in our own personal history.
The natural course of events would work in something like the following way:
Your wish goes to God or the Source of your Well-Being and the inspiration you need to accomplish your wish comes straight back to you. But because of the blocks or barriers that have been put in place, the inspiration doesn't reach its intended destination.
Every time you call for help the answer is always available to you, but you don't receive the response if you have limiting beliefs or are addicted to negative emotions or covered in layers of 'this is who I am'
All of this has to go, to be cleared completely out of your body-mind because they limit the abundance that is constantly available to you and they limit the perception of your own true magnificence and power.
You can develop the ability, with practice, to 'catch' the reactions that automatically spring up midstream and then take a moment to change your response towards something better... as a first step maybe to a neutral position ... which makes it easier to move up the vibrational scale, in manageable stages, instead of trying to do it in one big jump, towards a more joyful and appreciative outlook.
As you practise more you will find that your choices will become much clearer and more powerful and much more in alignment with what you truly desire... and which you will then be able to experience, savour and openly enjoy
