I must admit, I am an animal lover. I have a lot of animals, in fact, friends and family members occasionally joke that I own a local zoo. I guess it is true, to a certain extent. Although, I do not have lions, tigers or bears (because I do want them), I have reptiles of all different types. I have iguanas, bearded dragons, ball pythons, tegus, savannah monitors, nile monitors and more. Anyway, what are the chances of me getting lions, tigers or bears?

What does this all have to do with the process of document drying, you ask? Well, my stuff has recently gone through a flood and this stuff I am talking about are documents bearing all pertinent information about my beloved pets.

Although, the animals were safe as I had them transported to safe grounds before the hurricane hit, my animal records still received the bad end of the hurricane. When I first found that my animal records had been wet, I was really upset and I did not know that you could have the documents restored through the process of document drying. I had been meaning to put the animal records on a computer and have a back up disk on them but I had just been so busy that I didn't get to it. If not for the thought of document drying, I would have sulked all day and night.

As I was talking to an insurance agent about my house getting flooded I also told them about my documents that had gotten wet. Normally, I do not talk much so telling the insurance company extra information was out of my league. The truth is, this time, I am glad I went out of my league. This is because the insurance company told me about document drying. In fact, the insurance company not only told me about the process of document drying, they also gave me a telephone number and told me to call that number.

The number the insurance company gave me was to a document drying company. As you already know, I had never heard of document drying, let alone knew a document drying company existed, so I was a bit confused. The insurance company told me to call the document drying company and tell them what has happened recently. When I called the document drying company, I must say that they were very nice. The document drying company immediately took action and came to my animal records in less than an hour.

When I received my animal records back from the document drying company, I was very amazed. The document drying company had taken my records that were wet and made them look close to how they looked before they went through the flood. Needless to say, when I got those animal records back, I scanned every single one of them and have more a lot of back up files on animal records. I never want to have to go through the stress of loosing those animal records again.
