A popular jaunt on the island is a visit to the Tallisker distillery, though there are many places that give a glimpse of the islands strong Gaelic past. After you have seen all that Skye has to offer, take the bridge back to the tour starting point of Glasgow.

The drive back to Glasgow will be the cherry on the cake. High mountains and yes, walls are among the impressive sights you'll see on the way back. This is a real stop for camper vans, before you enter Loch Lomond Park once more.
