China Paintings, A Pleasure For The Eyes
Janice Jones
Maybe, Oil paintings occupy first place in the preference of painters. This is due to the variety of surfaces on which we can develop this art. Surfaces like wooden panel, slate, linoleum, paper, pressed wood, and cardboard have been used. However, the most accepted surface since the 16th century has been canvas.
Today, canvas has become the most common support medium for oil painting, replacing wooden panels. China Paintings use this type of surfaces in the majority of its works.
It is time to learn more about Vincent Van Gogh, another famous exponent of oil paintings. He was born in Groot-Zundert, Holland (1853 ? 1890) and during his life Van Gogh painting came to more than 900 paintings. He was very temperamental in his youth, what causing him many problems.
Van Gogh was a representative of post-impressionism. It was in France where Vincent Van Gogh development at the maximum his talents as a painter. This due to the strong influence he had with the painters of the time such as ?mile Bernard and Henry de Toulouse-Lautrec. Van Gogh also had a strong Japanese influence. Proof of this is the paintings and engravings with Japanese reasons.
If you are really interested in the world of painting, you should give it a reasonable time to improve your talent; unless you take it as a hobby. Research is essential to do a good job. For example, you can use China paintings as reference in its investigation.
Enjoy this exciting world and good luck.
