Cholecystitis Signs And Symptoms
Groshan Fabiola
As a progressive health problem, rosacea develops in three stages. Each stage has its specific symptoms. In the first stage rosacea begins as a tendency to flush or blush easily. Most of the patients realized that in the initial phase they flushed and blushed more easily than until that period. This frequent blushing and flushing may develop gradually until persistent redness, pimples and visible blood vessels will occur. The affected areas are the cheeks, the forehead, the chin and the nose. Along with these areas, affected may also be the neck, the ears, the chest or the back.
Another fact that was noticed was that about a half of the rosacea sufferers develop ocular symptoms. A recent study explains that most of the people that have developed rosacea do not have it on their face but rather on the back or other areas.
Even if the symptoms of rosacea differ from one case to another this progressive vascular problem develops some general symptoms. If anyone experiences the following symptoms it is recommended to consult a dermatologist. It is well known that rosacea can not be treated but there are some medicines that help to ease the symptoms.
The first mentioned symptom is the flushing of the face or the neck. It is known that rosacea causes redness that is similar with the redness caused by the sunburn or the windburn. The flusing often occurs when increased amounts of blood flow through vessels and makes them expand. After the disease progress the redness will become more noticeable and persistent.
Another common symptom that is believed to occur in most of a half of the patients is the dry facial skin.
Pimples are also a cause of rosacea. They differ from the pimples caused by acne rosacea. The pimples occur while the disease progresses. Many of the patients develop visible small blood vessels along with the pimples.
The red lines are called telangiectasia and appear when they flush. The blood vessels become large and show through the skin especially when overall redness diminishes. The most common area for their appearance is the cheeks.
Rosacea might also lead to nasal bumps. This condition is called rhinophyma. This is usually seen in the final stage and is the cause of untreated rosacea. Men are more likely to develop this type of complication. It consists in the appearance of small bumps on the nose and if the number of the bumps increases it might be the risk for the nose to appear swollen.
Facial burning is also a common symptom among the patients with rosacea.
